Our precious Lucy was born sleeping on 19th June 2009, she was 20 weeks old. I had gone for our 20 week scan excited to find out if we were having a girl or a boy, it was then we heard those very painful words "I'm sorry, its not good news, your baby has died".
Those words just echoed around the room, my husband and I just stared, surely no, all our dreams of our little baby gone, we were truly heartbroken.
The next day I gave birth to our little Angel Lucy, so tiny, so beautiful. We held her, whispered that we loved her and cherished every moment we could have with her.
Since she grew her wings, how my heart aches for her. I feel very low in the quiet of the evening, times when I used to enjoy relaxing feeling her moving and kicking, times when I would dream of what she would be like and how much we loved her already x
Dear Lucy,
I feel you fly around us little Angel,
and feel you along side us when we play,
I know you'll join our laughter little angel,
Just wish that you could stay x
Isobel and Amy see you flutter your wings in our garden sweetheart, be our little flower fairy x

New Years Prayer
Dear Lord,
In the new year, we pray
that You will guide us each new day
in paths that are pleasing to You.
Lord, the new year gives us another chance
to rededicate our lives to You,
to study Your Word
so that we know right from wrong
and to act in accordance with Your commands.
Thank You for the sense of
direction, purpose and peace we get
from aligning our lives with Your Holy will.
We pray for the strength and the will to obey You
each and every day of the new year,
and when we fail, we pray for Your mercy,
Your compassion, Your grace and Your love.
Help us in the new year to be Your faithful servants.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Angel Lucy,
God looked around His garden And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered "Peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
